Our Mission
To uplift the diverse and passionate group of critics that capture the viewpoints of all Puerto Rican backgrounds, both of whom live on the Island and abroad.
How?
A dedicated team of seasoned and accredited film critics make up the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rico Critics Association, whose passion for film drives them to advocate for accessibility and diversity. We work to open doors in a closed-door industry, advocating for talented film critics that break the mold of traditional media appreciation.

Dear Puerto Rican film critics, journalists, and broadcasters:
We are glad to announce that memberships are now open for the Puerto Rico (Film & TV) Critics Association (PRCA). Enrollment will remain available until further notice. All Puerto Rican film journalists, critics, and broadcasters who reside on the island and abroad are welcome to submit their application to become part of this unique organization.
Before submitting your membership application form, we highly encourage everyone interested in joining to read our mission statement and get familiarized with the membership guidelines.
